Yes. Please make an initial contact via inquiry forms no later than 1 week before the day you wish to visit.

Can I contact NES via phone?

No. We do not accept contact by phone. Please contact us via inquiry forms.

Does NES provide service in English?

We answer your question via inquiry form in English. But please note that the governing language of the contract is JAPANESE ONLY. We ask you to hire a reliable and well skilled translator at your own expense to understand the contract conditions.

Can I count on NES for renovation works?

We can provide a construction contract after your purchase.

Can I modify or extend the building myself?

You can customize interior or woodwork, but you need report your plan to an office and follow guidance if you change the structure or framework. NES can offer an application on your behalf.

Can I demolish the existing building and rebuild new one in the future?

The setback is not required. However, please feel free to ask us.

Are traditional houses resistant to earthquakes?

NES offer reinforcement against earthquakes as necessary.

Can I apply for purchase without viewing the property?

No. We request all customers to visit and view the property before submitting a purchase application.

How many times should I visit Japan to complete the purchase?

At least 1 time.

How long does it take to complete the purchase?

From 6 weeks to 8 weeks.

Am I eligible for a loan?

No, if you are living outside of Japan. We only accept lump-sum payment in cash from foreign customers.

Can I ask you to introduce a good Japanese lawyer?

Yes. In Japan solicitors/attorneys handle the legal process regarding real estate transactions. We can introduce you to some solicitors/attorneys who conduct business in English.

Can I register my company as a title-holder?

Yes.

Can I establish a company in Japan to hold title?

Yes, but not recommended in most cases. Please ask us and our lawyer.

Does NES provide warranty against defects?

Yes. From 6 months to 1 year, depending on the property.

What should I do to start using utilities? How should I pay for it?

We will contact the utility providers to start services on your behalf after the key handover. Payment can be made by credit card.
